    This is my rewrite of the traditional song 'Lowlands Away', a version of which I heard my good friend Tim Walker sing in February of this year.

    I saw at once the potential for a powerful comment on the effects rising sea levels would have on such lowlands, and this lyric woke me in the night demanding to be written. The final verse is of course as per the original.

    Yes, it's bleak. I make no apology for that.
