I thought I'd do something for International Womens' Day, and plenty of my songs are after all about women... so I made a little list, found that I had decent scratch tracks of two of them, recorded scratch tracks of some others in the kitchen while tweeting furiously between takes, and here's the result. Free, so everyone can listen. Name your price, in case you have the funds and inclination to support independent musicians like me.

Of course, if you do enjoy any of these tracks, I have 3 studio albums available and 1 live, there are plenty of Youtubes etc, and I'm turning up, with my band, on the folk circuit all over the place these days.

about

Some of these are pieces that may never get gigged or studio-recorded; they all have something to say about womankind, and deserve some hearing... all are scratch tracks done for fun and to share with you.

I hope you enjoy them!

about

Talis Kimberley UK

"I'm a songwriter and singer; my songs are spun from folklore and history, stirred well with a hazel wand and served with cake. I'll sing you ravens and bones and the story behind the story, I'll sing you bread and apples, ghosts and knitting, and bring you home with a pocketful of feathers and hope"
